Company Profile

A cleaning company involves more than just technicians, they need coordination, guidance and leadership. Great Lakes Window Cleaning is well managed and organizationally strong, and is extremely service and customer oriented. Our relationships with all members of the business community are excellent and maintained at the highest ethical standards.

Great Lakes Window Cleaning is owned and operated by Steve & Lianne Miller. Steve has been involved with the cleaning business since 1975, beginning in the Grand Rapids, Holland, and Grand Haven areas. Lianne, who founded Great Lakes Window Cleaning, started window cleaning in 1980. Steve joined the company when he and Lianne were married in 1985.

When Bob Georgi, Jr. joined Great Lakes Window Cleaning he brought with him over 10 years of professional management and customer service experience. He works closely with our customers and staff. His depth of management experience has enabled us to raise or standards of service even higher.

Damon Atlee serves as Technical Manager, and Financial Manager. His high level of technical understanding and his capacity to prioritize details plays a big part in our ability to deliver high quality, cutting edge service.

Everyone involved with Great Lakes Window Cleaning is committed to continually improving the levels of professionalism and ethics not only in our company but in the entire window cleaning industry.

Industry Involvement

Steve and Lianne were two of the founding directors of the International Window Cleaning Association (IWCA) whose objectives include encouraging the highest ideals and standards in the window cleaning industry, to further training and education of those connected with the window cleaning industry and to further the reduction of accidents. Steve served as a corporate officer of the IWCA during it's formative years. Great Lakes and it's divisions are also members of various other industry associations such as the Scaffold Industry Association (SIA), the Greater Lansing Home Builder's Association, The Building Owner's and Manager's Association (BOMA) among others.

Training and Certifications

Our technicians and staff regularly partake in many of the industry training programs available from agencies such as the International Window Cleaning Certification Institute (IWCCI) and The Scaffold Industry Association (SIA). Our technicians have received multiple certifications from these agencies.
